Hung-Ting (Lexie) Wu
Humanistic Integrative Counsellor in central London
Hello and welcome. I’m Lexie Wu, a BACP registered counsellor (MBACP) based in Central London. My approach is integrative, drawing on Psychodynamic, Gestalt, and Humanistic theories to support each person’s unique needs and experiences.
I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, trauma, relationship difficulties, and challenges around cultural identity and belonging. I have a particular interest in exploring thought patterns, early life experiences, and the ways these may shape how we relate to ourselves and others. Alongside my private practice, I have experience supporting NHS-referred clients in short-term therapy, as well as offering open-ended, longer-term counselling and psychotherapy.
I believe that while we are each on our own journey of growth and self-discovery, we do not have to face life’s challenges alone. Therapy can offer a space to explore, reflect, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself. Finding the right therapist is an important step, so please feel free to get in touch if you have any questions or would like to arrange an initial conversation.
My way of working & approaching
Online Counselling in London
I work integratively, which means I draw on different therapeutic approaches to meet your individual needs rather than following a single method. Together, we can explore your thoughts, emotions, relationships, and experiences at a pace that feels right for you.
I believe that greater self-awareness can create opportunities for change. Therapy offers a space to understand patterns, make sense of difficult experiences, and develop a deeper relationship with yourself. My approach is grounded in curiosity, collaboration, and respect for your unique story.
- Humanistic
- Psychodynamic
At the heart of Humanistic therapy is the belief that each person has the capacity for growth and change. I aim to provide a warm, accepting, and non-judgemental space where you can explore your experiences openly, develop self-understanding, and move towards living in a way that feels more aligned with who you are.
Psychodynamic therapy explores how past experiences, particularly early relationships, may continue to influence your thoughts, emotions, and relationships in the present. By bringing unconscious patterns into awareness, we can gain a deeper understanding of recurring difficulties and create space for new ways of relating.
